About Me
Zoey is passionate about empowering clients to overcome obstacles, big or small, and achieve their full potential. She aims to foster a safe and empathetic environment, celebrating each individual’s unique strengths. Her approach pulls from multiple perspectives, including Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, and Strengths-Based Techniques.
Zoey has expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families with anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma. She employs Somatic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques in working with clients on emotional regulation, communication, and maintaining healthy relationships. While symptoms can feel debilitating, Zoey believes that everyone can create change in their lives. She is dedicated to helping her clients heal and rediscover the beauty in life and relationships.
Prior to working as a therapist, Zoey spent years in the entertainment industry. She loves utilizing her creativity and imagination when connecting with children (and adults!). Zoey earned her Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Children, Youth, and Families from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan. Zoey is supervised by Danielle Jonas, LCSW (#115555).
